The Compact series is a Siemens cage type variable frequency speed control three-phase asynchronous motor with a unique cooling system, dual cooling circuits, streamlined fans, and a sufficiently large heat dissipation area of the machine base and end cover internal and external reinforcement structure, fully reflecting its super strong heat dissipation and heat exchange capabilities. 
Dual cooling circuit 
As shown in the above figure, the motor has two air flow paths, an internal circulating airflow circuit and an external cooling airflow path, which constitute the unique cooling method of the Compact series Siemens motor. 
The internal circulating airflow circuit is used to exchange heat between the rotor and the machine base through an internal fan, in order to cool the rotor and achieve temperature balance between the front and rear ends of the motor stator winding (as shown in the figure below). 
The external cooling airflow path is to timely transfer the heat from the stator of the motor to the surface of the machine base through heat conduction and heat exchange in the internal circulation airflow circuit through the external fan (coaxial: IC411; The cooling air flow generated by IC416 is carried away to achieve heat exchange between the motor and the surrounding environment, cooling the motor.

Through the unique dual circuit cooling mentioned above, as shown in the figure below, the temperature distribution of the motor stator winding has achieved a relatively balanced ideal effect, effectively avoiding local overheating. The temperature of Siemens motor bearings has also been objectively guaranteed.

The Compact series is a cooling fan for Siemens cage type variable frequency speed regulation three-phase asynchronous motors. There are two types of fans, one is the built-in fan type, suitable for 1LA8 and 1LA4 motors; Another type is the independent fan model, suitable for 1PQ8 and 1PQ4 models. 
The design of its fans is based on the principle of achieving maximum cooling effect with minimal loss. By adopting a streamlined surface design structure, the ventilation efficiency of the fan is maximally improved, while also reducing ventilation noise, contributing to the low noise of the series of motors. 
Self fan cooling type 
All fans are selected according to the requirements of the number of poles and rotation direction of the motor (as shown in the figure below) 
2-pole high-speed motor: propeller type (unidirectional rotation) 
Motors with 4 or more poles: radial centrifugal (bidirectional rotation), backward tilting centrifugal (unidirectional rotation)
