Installation environment and steps of frequency converter

Before installing the frequency converter, the first thing to know is the usage scenario of the frequency converter. Technicians need to set up different peripheral devices according to the on-site environment. 
The specific installation environment and steps are as follows: 
(1) Environmental temperature 
It is generally suitable for working in environments with temperatures ranging from -10 ℃ to 40 ℃ and humidity levels below 90%. If the ambient temperature is higher than 40 ℃, the frequency converter should be reduced by 5% for every 1 ℃ increase. 
(2) General requirements for installation site 
1) No corrosion, no flammable or explosive gases or liquids 
2) Dust free, floating fibers and metal particles. 
3) The foundation and walls of the installation site should be sturdy, undamaged, and free from vibration 
4) To avoid direct sunlight exposure 
5) No electromagnetic interference 
(3) Installation space and ventilation of frequency converter 
The frequency converter is equipped with a cooling fan inside for forced air cooling. In order to achieve good cooling circulation effect, the frequency converter must be installed vertically. When installing multiple frequency converters in the same device or control box, it is recommended to install them horizontally in parallel to reduce mutual thermal influence. 
(4) Dismantling of the inverter cover plate 
During installation, it is necessary to test, inspect, and wire the frequency converter, which requires disassembling its cover plate. Pay attention to the characteristics of different frequency converters and install them according to their features. 
(5) Wiring of frequency converter 
1) Is there any wiring error 
2) Whether wire shavings, especially metal shavings, short broken ends, screws, and nuts, have fallen inside the frequency converter 
3) Are the screws tightened and are the wires loose 
4) Has the exposed part of the terminal wiring collided with the live parts of other terminals, and has it touched the casing of the frequency converter. 
(6) Precautions for wiring control circuits 
1) The wiring between the control circuit and the main circuit, as well as the wiring between the control circuit and other power lines, should be separated and kept at a certain distance. 
2) The relay contact terminal leads in the frequency converter control circuit should be routed separately from the connections to other control circuit terminals to avoid interference signals caused by contact closure or disconnection. 
3) In order to prevent interference caused by noise and other signals, which may cause misoperation of the frequency converter, shielded wires are used in the control circuit.
