The history of this steel plant, 
It is a few months younger than the Republic of Turkey. 
On April 3, 1937, it broke ground under the watchful eye of Mustafa Kemal, becoming the first heavy industry factory in Türkiye. 
From its birth, it has been entrusted with the mission of "building factories for the country" - from railway tracks to machinery, from ships to weapons, its steel has supported the backbone of a young nation. 
As time has progressed into the 21st century, this "old factory" continues to hum. However, when it decided to expand its profile production line, the engineers furrowed their brows: 
• The billet temperature reaches up to thousands of degrees, and the roller motor has to operate continuously in an environment with high temperature, high dust, and high humidity; 
• The impact load and frequent forward and reverse rotations during rolling are extreme tests for the mechanical strength of the motor; 
• Once the machine stops, the entire production line will be paralyzed, resulting in inestimable losses.

• "Armor" capable of withstanding dust: The torsionally rigid shell remains unbreakable even in high-dust and high-humidity environments; 
• Precise "nerve": An optional heavy-duty encoder can be installed to ensure precise and controllable rotation of the roller table every time. 
34 sets of direct-connected heavy-duty roller conveyor motors and 20 sets of IEC interface DP motors, just like this, set off from Germany, crossed the Mediterranean Sea, and arrived at the steel plant in Türkiye.

When the first SG motor was started on the roller conveyor, the engineers finally put their hearts at ease. 
The hot steel billet glides smoothly on the roller table, while the motor's rumble is steady and powerful, without any trembling. 
Under the impact of high loads, it remains motionless; amid frequent instructions for forward and reverse rotations, it responds precisely; and amidst the dust of iron oxide scales filling the air, it still maintains efficient operation. 
For this steel plant with a history of over 80 years, this motor, sourced from German technology, serves not only as a "stability guardian" for the production line, but also represents an industrial heritage that transcends national boundaries.
