1. The operating environment should be kept clean and dry, the exterior of the motor should be kept clean, and the air inlet should not be obstructed by dust, fibers, or other obstacles.   
2. When the thermal protection of the motor continuously activates, it is necessary to identify whether the fault originates from the motor itself, overload, or too low setting value of the protection device. The motor can only be put back into operation after the fault has been eliminated.    
3. It is necessary to ensure good lubrication of the motor during operation. For ordinary motors, lubricating grease should be replenished or replaced after approximately 5,000 hours of operation. If the bearing overheats or the lubrication deteriorates during operation, the lubricating grease should be replaced immediately. When replacing the lubricating grease, the old lubricating oil should be removed, and the oil grooves of the bearing and bearing cover should be cleaned with gasoline. Then, ZL-3 lithium-based grease should be filled into the cavity between the inner and outer rings of the bearing, filling 1/2 (for 2 poles) and 2/3 (for 4, 6, 8 poles) of the cavity.    
4. When the bearing reaches the end of its lifespan, the vibration and noise during motor operation will increase significantly. If the radial clearance of the bearing reaches the following values, the bearing should be replaced.    
5. When dismantling the motor, the rotor can be removed from either the shaft extension end or the non-extension end. If there is no need to remove the fan, it is more convenient to remove the rotor from the non-shaft extension end. When extracting the rotor from the stator, care should be taken to avoid damaging the stator windings or insulation.    
6. When replacing the winding, it is necessary to note down the original winding method, size, number of turns, wire gauge, etc. If these data are lost, they should be obtained from the manufacturer. Randomly changing the original design winding often deteriorates one or several performance aspects of the motor, making it unusable.
