1. Hammering is strictly prohibited
When installing coupling, pulley, sprocket, and other connecting components on the output shaft of the reducer, direct hammering should not be used, as the structure of the reducer's output shaft cannot withstand axial hammering. Instead, a screw can be inserted into the threaded hole at the shaft end to press the connecting component in place.
2. Be sure to install the vent cap
Before use, replace the blockage at the high position with an exhaust plug to ensure that gas is expelled from the reducer during operation. Assuming that timely communication is not made, prolonged operation of the reducer can cause the gas inside to expand and damage the oil seal, resulting in oil leakage from the reducer.
3. Communicate about lubricating oil in a timely manner, paying special attention to the first time
Special attention should be paid to the initial oil change. After the gear reducer has been operated for the first 300 to 400 hours, the lubricating oil should be changed promptly. Subsequently, the lubricating oil should be changed every 1500 to 2000 hours. Additionally, in workplaces with harsh operating environments, high temperatures, and heavy dust, the lubricating oil should be inspected every two weeks. If any contaminants are found in the lubricating oil, it should be changed immediately to maintain the cleanliness of the lubricating oil, extend the service life of the gear reducer, and improve economic efficiency.
