Beide dust explosion-proof motors can be used in food or feed processing, wood processing, flour processing or storage, as well as in places with combustible dust such as metals, chemicals, synthetic resins, agricultural products, various fibers, fuels, etc. The specific types of dust can be found in the "Examples of Dust Characteristics", but this motor is not suitable for electrical equipment used in coal mines and ground installations where gas and/or combustible dust pose a danger.
