       Siemens China has officially launched the "Zero Carbon Pioneer Program", announcing the company's goals and paths in low-carbon development. Siemens proposes to leverage digital innovation and cross-domain knowledge and experience as entry points, collaborating with various partners in China to create a green ecosystem and build an end-to-end zero-carbon industrial chain. The company aims to help more than 500 key suppliers in China accelerate their carbon reduction efforts by 2025, assist tens of thousands of customers across dozens of industries in energy conservation and efficiency improvement, and promote the green and low-carbon transformation of industries.

       "Emission reduction and development must proceed simultaneously, and a balance point must be found. Achieving zero-carbon transition cannot be achieved overnight; it requires gradual and planned progress. The 'dual-carbon' goal poses a significant challenge for many enterprises, especially those in high-energy consumption industries, and long-term planning is essential," said Xiao Song. He added that challenges also present opportunities. Energy and energy storage in the non-fossil energy sector, as well as energy storage and smart grids in the renewable energy sector, represent the future direction of development. Among them, technological innovation is key. "Siemens has been exploring the use of technological innovation to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction. With the continuous enhancement of our technological innovation capabilities, we feel the market's demand for us."

      Siemens has carried out energy efficiency renovation and maintenance projects, including energy efficiency improvement of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and lighting systems, in 12 office parks and manufacturing plants in China, and will continue to promote the implementation of such projects on a larger scale. Meanwhile, Siemens has implemented distributed rooftop photovoltaic systems in 14 parks and manufacturing plants, and plans to add this system in more manufacturing plants. In addition, Siemens purchases and uses green certificate electricity in its office parks in Beijing and Shanghai, as well as in 31 operating enterprises.
