For non-re-lubricable bearings, the lifespan of the lubricating grease in the B&D motor is equivalent to the lifespan of the bearing. However, this can only be achieved if the motor is operated strictly in accordance with the technical data specified in this manual.
For motors that are relubricated at specified intervals, the bearing life can be extended, thereby compensating for adverse factors such as temperature, installation conditions, rotational speed, bearing specifications, and mechanical loads.
When an electric motor operates under abnormal conditions, the lifespan of the bearing will be shortened. The following are some examples: 

■ When the operating speed of the electric motor exceeds its rated speed, the increased vibration of the motor subjects the bearing to additional radial and axial forces, resulting in a reduction in its lifespan; 

■ When factors such as the environment or equipment cause an increase in motor vibration, the bearing is similarly subjected to additional radial and axial forces, leading to a reduction in its lifespan; 

■ For every 10°C increase in ambient temperature, the lifespan of the lubricating grease and the re-lubrication interval are reduced by half.
