The Siemens Beide Motor Bearing System 1TL0 series motors come standard with deep groove ball bearings or angular contact ball bearings, which are sealed or self-lubricating. The bearings of the driving and non driving ends of the 1TL0 motor in the range of FS80~160 float; FS180~355 motor drive end bearing floating, non drive end bearing fixed. The standard configuration of bearings can withstand a certain amount of cantilever force. For details on cantilever force, please refer to "The maximum allowable cantilever force at the motor shaft drive end" on page 7. When the cantilever force borne by the motor shaft end is large, it is possible to consider choosing a bearing design that enhances the cantilever force (option number: L22). Bearing Assignment
1TL0 series motors are supplied with the ball bearing as
standard. These bearings are either of the sealed or regreasable
type.
For FS80 ~ 160, the floating bearings are assembled; for
FS180 ~ 355, floating bearing at DE, and fixed bearing at
NDE assembled.
The standard bearing can endure a maximum cantilever force,
referred to page 7 - Permissible cantilever forces. If higher
cantilever force on the shaft required, the increased cantilever
bearing design (Option code: L22) should be considered.
